Daniel Not Impressed with this Cuesta Rey

Cuesta Rey No. 11 Belicoso 4.9x50 Centro Fino $4.00

Construction: Wrapped nicely, with no real looseness in it. The wrapper was a very pleasing medium coffee brown, but unfortunately was slightly veiny. I thought it was a good looking cigar with a nice clean crown. I give it a 4

Lighting: The crown cut fairly well, but did flake a little bit. Lit easily and burned well. Ash was a dirty grey color...Not too good there. Built up over one inch of ash with no problem. Burned nice and smooth through the whole cigar. I say a 3

Flavor: Mild cigar with herbal and slightly leatherish taste. And speaking of flavor, there wasn’t much unfortunately. Only good note on flavor is that it was consistent throughout 2

Comments: Well, I was a little disappointed. A great looking cigar that did nothing for me once I lit it up.

Overall: 79
Value Rating: 75
Recommendation: DFY
